#87: The Raw Water Fad: A Fluoride-Free Alternative or Poop-Laden Disaster?

by Gregory
raw water fad

In this episode, Gregory discusses the fad that has hit the nation and is in the zeitgeist of the cognoscenti: raw water! Raw water is untreated water straight from the springs. Proponents of raw water say it doesn’t contain the fluoride, chlorine, lead, and other harmful contaminants (such as antidepressants, hormonal contraceptives, xenoestrogen compounds) and it is the purest form of water. Opponents say it is dangerous since it might contain pathogenic microorganisms.  They jokingly lambast the pure water people as failing for any gimmick.  “Would you like feces with your water?”  Listen to see where you fall on this discussion.
